GEP APAC is a Singapore-based non-profit oil&gas association that comprises over 250 companies and 1,100 professionals and covers the full cycle of hydrocarbon industry from geology to the pump.
GEP APAC operates worldwide striving on Singapore’s growth and global connectivity.
Singapore is Asia Pacific’s hub for oil and gas.
Most major international oil companies such as ExxonMobil, Shell and Total have chosen Singapore as their regional headquarters.
Singapore downstream sector is the largest in the region producing over 3 million barrels a day of refined products and hosting a large petrochemical complex. It is supported by a cluster ecosystem of over 2,000 companies.
Singapore shipyards, ship repair and fabrication yards manufacture 80% of the world’s FPSO/FSO conversions and close to 75% of jack-up rigs and are supported by over 500 companies.
What we do
GEP APAC brings together its members to form a powerful network and create business synergies, promote technology & industry excellence and share industry information.
We build and maintain bridges by establishing for the benefit of our members relationships with national oil companies (NOCs), related government agencies, chambers of commerce, peer associations, major international oil companies (IOCs) and training&education institutions such as Institut Français du Petrole (France), Institut de Soudure (France), Institut Teknologi Bandung (Indonesia), SEATE Technical Institute of Papua New Guinea and National University of Singapore.
Corporate Social Responsibility: GEP APAC can assess and evaluate CSR requirements of NOCs and related ministries to help plan and develop national content policy, industrialisation programmes, building competencies through training and education, implement environment and social projects.
